Is the life you are living yours?
Our lives are shaped by culture — by economic systems, social norms, and expectations that tell us what a good life looks like, how to spend our time, and what to accept as normal.
The world is built and rebuilt every day through the decisions and interactions of ordinary people — including yours. The way you live either reinforces the dominant culture or begins to shift it.
When you change how you live, the effects ripple outward — they don’t stop with you.
Where do you want to start?
Different entry points — all grounded in the same approach.
A structured 3-day online workshop for people who feel their life no longer fully fits — but don’t yet have a clear alternative. Through guided writing and focused reflection on how you communicate, relate, and meet your own needs, you will develop a clear picture of where you are now, what you actually want, and what needs to change.
This is not about inspiration. It is about clarity, decisions, and first concrete steps toward a life that works in reality. Life Vision is where most people begin. It gives you the foundation — a clear direction across all areas of your life — that everything else builds on.
Building a different kind of life is easier when you are not doing it alone. The Holistic Freedom community is a space to connect with people who are asking the same questions, working on the same areas, and moving in the same direction. It is supported by structured activities, courses, and workshops — offered by us and by specialists from our network. We don’t claim expertise in every area of life. We have built a network of people who do.
This is where the work continues after Life Vision — and where some people choose to begin.
Holistic Freedom is not only an online space. We live and work in Costa Rica where we host retreats — small gatherings for people who want to go deeper, away from their daily environment, in a place shaped by nature. Retreat dates will be announced in the community.
Are you interested in joining a future retreat? Let us know and we’ll be in touch when dates are set.
Who we are and how we live
We come from different backgrounds and live different lives. What connects us is how we approach life: we do not follow predefined paths. We question, we adjust, and we build in a way that feels aligned — from the inside.
We are not here because we have it figured out. We are here because we chose to take responsibility for how we live. What we share comes from experience — and from being deeply committed to how we live.

Aleksandra
For many years I was a university professor — researching, teaching, and building communities inside institutions with clear structures and expectations. The work was meaningful. But at some point I realized that the life I was building, while functional, was not the one I actually wanted anymore. There was more to explore. So I made a decision.
I left. I moved to Costa Rica, to a piece of land where life happens mostly outside. The rhythm of the day shaped by nature, not by a schedule. Contact with local and indigenous communities constantly reminds me that there are many valid ways to live — and that the one I grew up with is just one of them.
My academic background spans social science, communication, and linguistics — disciplines that all circle the same question: how do structures, language, and relationships shape the way people live?
Alongside my work with people, I am training as a K9 behaviorist. Dogs respond immediately to how you show up — your internal state, your consistency, your presence. There is no hiding. That makes working with them one of the most direct paths I know to developing genuine self-awareness and emotional stability.
This combination — academic discipline, a life rebuilt by choice, and the daily practice of working with dogs and people — is what I bring into Holistic Freedom. Not just theory. Experience.

I used to live a life that aimed to adapt and fit in. I adjusted myself to meet expectations, creating stability and doing what was considered right. At the same time, something in me never felt fully seen, nor did I truly belong.
I moved to Costa Rica two decades ago and built what I knew — a travel agency, a stable life. But when I became a mother, something shifted. First mostly within myself, then starting to question the outside. I didn’t want the existing system for my son, so I founded an alternative education center. We ended up unschooling entirely. That was my first quiet revolution.
From there, I stopped fitting my life around existing structures. I design it from scratch. Nonviolent Communication became not just another career but a core part of how I live — how I meet myself, how I parent, how I navigate relationships. Not something I use. Something I have embodied.
It is not an easy journey and up to today I sometimes question myself. But the ability to see the whole picture saves me over and over again. My original background is in project management, and that supported a certain kind of thinking — spotting what’s missing, finding the path through complexity, organizing what feels overwhelming into something workable. That capacity didn’t stay in the professional world. It became part of how I live and how I work with people.
This is what makes it more than personal. The world needs a different way of living, and I want to be an active part of building it. This way of living — building consciously, taking responsibility, and staying true to myself — is what I bring into Holistic Freedom. Not as an idea, but as living proof.
The Silent Revolution
Real change rarely announces itself.
It happens in small decisions — what you choose to prioritize, how you treat people, what you refuse to accept as inevitable. When enough people make those decisions deliberately, something shifts. Not through protest or disruption, but through the quiet accumulation of different ways of living.

This is for you
If you are done drifting. Done with vague intentions and scattered effort. You want clarity about where you are going — and a structure that helps you get there. You are ready to look honestly at your life — all of it — and take responsibility for what you find.
The world changes through people who decide to live differently. You can be one of them.
If that is where you are, this is for you.
